My first.

It was the end of 2011, and I was travelling to Alibaug, a seaside town on the western coast of Maharashtra in India, and I was carrying my Sony NEX5 micro four thirds camera along. On a whim, Joseph lent me a prime lens to pair with my tiny camera. I’d never shot with one before (a 50mm, it said). And I shot a bunch of photos with it that I posted to Facebook, in an album titled “Blindingly Ordinary Things”.

Well, this bunch of photos, really.

I’ve shot and posted thousands photos to Instagram since, but this one will always remain special. To me.

PS: This album led to the creation of this website, a photo project that I ran for the next four years.
